PhD CandidateI'm working toward my doctorate in Mathematics Education though a joint program of SDSU and UCSD (http://www.sci.sdsu.edu/crmse/msed/). I have a background as a tutor, starting from my time as a dual-enrollment community college student during high school and continuing by teaching high school before coming to this program. What excites me about being on this team is the chance to make a difference for at-risk students in mathematics and to develop as an interdisciplinary researcher - as an undergraduate I double-majored in mathematics and cognitive science so it is fun to be backworking with psychologists again!
