Undergraduate
Research Assistant
I am a sophomore at San Diego State University, originally from Rocklin, CA. I am a Psychology major with an emphasis in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. I have always been more intrigued by the social and behavioral aspects of Psychology, making the STEPP lab the perfect fit for me. I hope that in being in this lab, I will begin to understand and recognize the impacts of our “societal norms” on underrepresented groups and the effect that these stereotypes have on their perceptions of themselves. In the future, I would like to be involved in Organizational Human Resources and thus I feel that this topic is very important for me to experience first-hand. A lot of this information is useful, and can be applied, to improve underrepresented employees’ self-concept in a workplace environment.

Education: BA May 2021 (e), San Diego State University (Psychology, Emphasis in I/O)

Hobbies: Dancing, Listening to music, Going to concerts, Spending time with friends and family.
