Undergraduate Research AssistantIn the STEPP lab, I am currently involved in creating increased similarity between men and women so as to make male role models effective for underrepresented female students in the STEM field. My research interests include stereotyping between groups, as well as, self-esteem and the effects of abuse.
Outside of the STEPP lab, my other interests include working with at-risk adolescents and substance-use disorders. I am currently an intern with the Burn Institute, working closely with burn survivors. I also volunteer with NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness, working with youth with mental illness.
